Darrah Ferguson is a passionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Clinical Supervisor in the DMV. Darrah always knew that psychology and mental health were important to her and decided to pursue them as a career, earning her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology from Pace University and her Masters of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Baruch College CUNY. She is deeply committed to supporting individuals on their journey toward wellness. Darrah specializes in working with diverse communities, including teenagers, young adults, and women of color, to address mental health, self-empowerment, and holistic well-being. She combines evidence-based therapeutic techniques with a modern understanding of mental health challenges in today’s world. Darrah is also an advocate for mental health education and empowerment within the Christian church, believing that everyone deserves the tools and knowledge to lead fulfilling lives.
Darrah is the proud author of the book Masterpiece: An Affirmation Book for Women of Color. As a public speaker and writer, she shares insights on the intersections of mental health, self-care, culture and faith. Her work continues to inspire others to build resilience and foster self-awareness, encouraging growth that begins from within.
